In today's digital landscape, safeguarding your online accounts is more crucial than ever. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a formidable barrier against unauthorized access, significantly bolstering your security posture.

Here's why enabling 2FA is paramount:

  1. Enhanced Security: 2FA adds an extra layer of protection beyond just passwords. Requiring a second form of verification, such as a code sent to your mobile device, dramatically reduces the risk of unauthorized access even if your password is compromised.

  3. Data Protection: Your personal and sensitive data stored within the Bacloud client zone is invaluable. Enabling 2FA adds barrier, ensuring that your confidential information remains safe from unauthorized access.

To enable 2FA authentication in Bacloud Client Zone:

1. Login to your Bacloud client zone.

2. Navigate to the 'Security Settings' or 'Account Settings' section.

3. Look for the option to enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and select it.

4. Please select the 2FA authentication method. We offer Time-Based Token authentication with a mobile app or Email-based Two-factor authentication.

Please select your preferred method to set up a 2-factor authentication and click on "Get Started"

You'll need to download an authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Duo on your smartphone. Any Token-Based Authentication works! You can select any you like the most.

5.2 Scan the QR code displayed on your screen using the authenticator app.

5.3 Enter the generated code from the authenticator app to complete the setup process.

 

5.4 Once enabled, you'll need to enter a code from the authenticator app every time you log in, providing an added layer of security.

 

6. Email Two-Factor authentication setup.

6.1 If you selected an Email Two-factor authentication method, a security code was sent to your email, which you used in the Bacloud registration form.

6.2 Please check your email and find a security code. The code is valid for 10 minutes to complete the verification process.

 

6.3 Please enter an authorization code to activate Two-factor authentication:

6.4 Two-factor authentication is now enabled. Importnat! Please print or save your backup code.
