cPanel Price Increase 2027: Another Year, Another Price Hike

  • Publikuota 2026 Spalio 8

cPanel has announced another round of license price increases effective December 16, 2026. New per-account rates for store licenses will be: Solo $32.99, Admin $38.99, Pro $58.99, and Premier $76.99 per month (all monthly, excluding VAT). Each additional account beyond the tier caps will cost $0.55. For example, a 100‑account Premier license will now be $76.99 plus $0.55 for each account over 100. These hikes are roughly 10–12% across tiers (up from $29.99/$35.99/$53.99/$69.99 and $0.49 prior to 2027).

  • Effective Date: All new and renewing licenses take the higher rates after Dec 15, 2026.
  • Account Limits: Solo (1 account), Admin (up to 5), Pro (up to 30), Premier (100+ with auto-scaling above 100).

Extended Lifecycle Support (ELS): cPanel is extending its ELS program for CentOS 7/CloudLinux 7 systems running cPanel v110 through December 31, 2027. Servers enrolled in ELS (CentOS/CL7 on v110) pay an extra monthly fee for critical security patches. The additional fees are tiered by account count: Solo $9.90, Admin $11.70, Pro $17.70, Premier $23.10 per server per month (Jan – Dec 2027). Servers that update to a current OS are exempt from the fee.

Extension and Add-on Pricing: cPanel also noted price adjustments from extension vendors. In particular, CloudLinux OS, Imunify360, KernelCare, and ImunifyAV+ licensing will see increases effective Dec 16, 2026. (For reference, the current prices are about $16.80/mo for CloudLinux OS, $45/mo for Imunify360, and $3/mo for KernelCare.) Detailed new extension pricing is included in cPanel’s 2027 PartnerNOC Licensing Guide. In short, expect higher rates for these security/performance add-ons in line with cPanel’s overall cost increase.

New Partner Incentive Program

To offset the impact, cPanel is introducing a 2027 Partner Incentive Program. In this program, 50% of each partner’s August 2026 cPanel invoice is converted into “Partner Credit” to be used on eligible products in 2027. Key points:

  • Credit Amount: 50% of your August 2026 cPanel spend becomes credit for 2027.
  • Usage: Apply automatically to purchases or renewals of eligible products (e.g., SolusVM 2, Nova AI Website Builder, Riva AI Search, Comet Backup, SocialBee) throughout 2027.
  • No Expiration Until Year-End: Use credit any time in 2027 (all at once or piecemeal). Unused credit expires Dec 31, 2027.
  • No Minimums: All cPanel partners qualify automatically; there’s no minimum size or tier requirement.
  • Limitations: Credit applies to new/renewals of eligible products only. It cannot be exchanged for cash, applied to cPanel licenses, or used against past-due balances.

This program is intended to “give value back to you and help you grow”. In practice, it means you can reduce your cost on partner offerings (backups, AI tools, etc.) up to half of your existing cPanel spend.

Summary of Changes

  • License Prices Up: All cPanel tiers go up (Solo $29.99→$32.99, etc.); new rates effective Dec 16, 2026.
  • ELS Extended: Support for CentOS 7/CL7 servers on cPanel v110 continues through 2027 with a new fee (e.g. $23.10/mo per Premier server).
  • Extension Increases: CloudLinux OS, Imunify360, KernelCare, ImunifyAV+ prices are rising (details per vendor; see cPanel’s guide).
  • Partner Credit: Half of August 2026 invoice back as credit for eligible products in 2027, usable throughout 2027 with no monthly caps.

These changes follow on cPanel’s pattern of annual increases. (As reported, cPanel’s panel license price has doubled since 2019.) With these updates, your monthly cost for a typical shared server will rise, but the expanded Partner Incentive Program offers some mitigation if you invest in partner tools.
