No additional issues regarding network and cooling were observed, the issue was resolved.

Investigating

The network unavailability at the Equinix Chicago data center was caused by cooling issues that are currently being partially resolved. Bacloud servers were not affected by the temperature disturbance, but network equipment was affected, which was shut down.

Currently, all services are available, we are monitoring the situation, maintaining communication with the Equinix Chicago data center team.

We regret to inform you that the Equinix Chicago data center is currently experiencing a critical incident. The chiller plant in the facility in a data center has encountered failures, leading to temperatures rising above the SLA.



Actions Taken:



    The vendor is on-site and actively troubleshooting the chiller plant failures.

    DC Critical Facility Engineers are deploying all available resources, including floor fans and additional cooling equipment, to mitigate 

    the temperature rise.
